ICP Education rebrands as Bright Stars
One of the UK’s fastest growing nursery groups, ICP Education, is rebranding as Bright Stars
Launched in 2016 with a strategy of acquiring high quality nursery settings, the organisation now has 68 nurseries with more than 6000 children across England and Scotland.
The rebrand comes after ICP Education, which was formed from the merger of ICP Nurseries and Cresswell Nurseries, sold their interests in the business to Oakley Capital last year.
Stephen Booty, executive chairman, said: “We chose Bright Stars as it celebrates the children and staff in our nurseries. It is also the name of one of the nurseries within our group.”
The organisation has built a strong reputation within the nursery sector, being voted one of top 20 nursery groups in the UK for four years running by daynurseries.co.uk and named as one of the best places to work in the UK by Glass Door in 2020. It was also chosen as the Nursery Investor of the Year 2021 by Education Investor magazine and has won and been shortlisted for many NMT awards.
Stephen continued: “Our strategy of acquiring Good and Outstanding nurseries of 65 places or more in affluent areas remains the same. We will continue to grow our nursery group and we have more acquisitions in the pipeline.
“We continue to seek new settings that complement the ethos and values of our organisation. Retaining the individuality and uniqueness of each setting within their local communities, allowing them to keep their own brand and culture, is very important to us. Our role is to nurture the nurseries and staff teams and support them to continue to grow and deliver outstanding experiences for the children.”
The Bright Stars name is accompanied by a new logo. Stephen adds: “The little boy and girl in our new logo represent the children that we care for and support to learn, reaching for the stars. The stars represent each of the five years that most children are with us, growing from a little star into the biggest and brightest star.
“ Whilst we have rebranded as Bright Stars, it is important to note that all our nurseries will continue to retain their own local branding and all that is special to them.”
