Lancashire organisations create SEND resources
Three Lancashire-based early years organisations have come together to deliver support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Mini Minds Matter, specialists in early years mental health, Stanmore Insurance Brokers, and nursery management software provider Connect Childcare are creating a set of resources to equip early years providers with the knowledge and tools necessary to support children with SEND.
The collaboration will include a webinar, SEND and Wellbeing in Early Years, offering practical advice, strategies, and insights on supporting SEND children in early years settings.
Julie Robinson, founder of Mini Minds Matter, said: “The early years sector is at the forefront of providing inclusive education, and it’s essential that practitioners are equipped with the right resources and knowledge. These free resources will empower nurseries to deliver exceptional care and support for children with SEND, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.”
