Specialist business property advisor, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of The Grove Nursery in New Haw, Surrey

Established in 1960, The Grove Nursery is a ‘Good’ rated setting which caters for up to 53 children aged two to four years. It operates from a church hall in the beautiful Surrey village of New Haw.

Following a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, the business has been sold to Coloured Ribbons Childcare which is run by mother and daughter, Gill and Sally Couzens, and operates another childcare setting in Weybridge. 

Sophie Willcox, director – Childcare & Education at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, commented: “There were several interested parties which comprised predominantly local operators and first-time buyers, but the owners felt Coloured Ribbons were the perfect operator to hand over to and were also attracted to the speed at which they could complete the deal. I wish all parties the best of luck for the future.”

The Grove Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
