Nursery relaunches following £355k investment
Local nursery and pre-school, Your Co-op Childcare Stonehouse has relaunched following a £355k investment.
Located on Stonehouse Lane in Harbourne, the nursery has undergone a full refurbishment and rebrand becoming a Your Co-op Little Pioneers nursery and pre-school.
This new setting delivers a tailored environment for children aged 0 to 5 years old to support their learning and development in a fun and inspiring way.
The refurbishment includes a new garden area for outdoor play, complete with a sand pit, climbing frames and growing garden.
The nursery will also have a Forest School which will use the great outdoors to educate children and develop their confidence outside the home and classroom. Children will improve their problem-solving abilities by taking part in exciting and motivational tasks in the woods all whilst making friends and learning how to co-operate better with other children.

To further support Your Co-op Little Pioneers members, each child and family will have an allocated key worker who ensures they’re getting the best from nursery life, from documenting updates on their child’s progress to advice on toilet training, food, friendships, sleeping patterns and more.
The Your Co-op Little Pioneers Stonehouse nursery will be hosting an open day on Saturday 24th February, 10am – 2pm, where parents will be able to take a look around the brand-new space and meet the team who will be on hand to answer any questions.
The Your Co-op Little Pioneers St Edwards Nursery on Raddlebarn Road in Birmingham will also be hosting an open day on Saturday 24th February, 10am – 2pm.

Tina Young, nursery manager at Your Co-op Little Pioneers Stonehouse, said: “We’re thrilled to be unveiling our newly refurbished nursery and garden at Stonehouse. Supporting children and families in both their education and happiness is at the heart of what we do, and this nursery will provide them with a great environment to develop into independent and confident young people.
“We’re excited to see what this next chapter brings, as we welcome both new and familiar little pioneers to join us on their development journey.”
The opening forms part of Your Co-op’s ambitious five-year growth plan that will see it bring the Little Pioneers brand to many more communities across the country.
