Welcome Nurseries, the fourth largest nursery group in the UK, have opened a new head office in Barnsley 

All operations; HR, marketing and finance functions will run through this central hub, where previously these team members had worked from home or from the settings themselves. 

Linda Cuddy, one of the directors, who is based in Barnsley, said:

“As much of our growth was during the pandemic, it wasn’t practical to have one central location. However, now that we are working more ‘normally’, it’s time to bring the team together.”

The group has grown rapidly from five sites pre-pandemic to 48 now. 

Based near the town centre, the office can currently house 16 staff, however over the next 12 months, Welcome plans to grow to 25 head office staff.
