Thrive Childcare and Education acquires 38th setting
Thrive Childcare and Education, a childcare provider with settings across the UK, have acquired their 38th setting in Poplar Day Nursery, located in Lancashire. The setting is registered for just under 70 children and is rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted
Poplars Day Nursery was offered to the market by our clients Vanda and Geoffrey Hope, who wished to retire and spend more time with the family. The setting provides care to children from 3 months of age to 5 years and is ideally situated close to local transport links.
The buyer, Thrive Childcare and Education, have established themselves across the North West of England and Scotland as a reliable care provider with experienced, friendly and welcoming teams in all settings. Additionally, the business offers childcare provisions for babies and toddlers alongside holiday clubs and pre-school.
Thrive Childcare and Education, formerly known as Bertram Nurseries, have 21 years of experience in the sector and were drawn to the setting due to the excellent location and high standard of the setting as well as the potential to expand and increase the capacity. The buyers intend to familiarise themselves with the setting and incorporate it into their group.
Sales negotiator Sarah Ellison said of the sale: “It was a pleasure working with our clients to secure a successful sale and find the right buyers. Although there were a number of interested parties, our clients knew Thrive Childcare and Education would take the setting to the next level. We would like to wish both parties all the best”.
