The Old Station Nursery Group celebrates 20 years

The Old Station Nursery Group, a group of 63 nurseries across the UK, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this summer, through a variety of events taking place across the group.

The nursery group was founded by Sarah Steel, who opened the first Old Station Nursery in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, in 2002. Over the last 20 years, the group has subsequently grown to 63 settings across the UK, providing support for up to 4231 children each day.

Across the settings within The Old Station Nursery Group, there are several events taking place this summer to not only commemorate 20 years of excellence, but also to celebrate the ongoing achievements and support of the children, team, and families. Some of the events taking place at the nurseries include summer fetes, barbeques and tea parties for the children, families, and teams.

In recognition of celebrating The Old Station Nursery Group’s 20th birthday, Sarah Steel, the chief executive and founder of The Old Station Nursery Group, commented:

“As a group, I think our greatest accomplishments over the last 20 years are having a huge family of children who have been through our care. The Old Station Nursery Group is all about learning and creating brighter futures together. Every child that comes to us only has one chance of childhood, so we aim to help them to be the best person that they can be,”

“I would like to say a huge thank you to our parents for trusting us with your children; we know how special they all are, and so we want to provide the best of care for them. We could not do that without the amazing nursery teams we have here, so thank you to our hard-working teams throughout the group for all that you do each day.”
