Storal Learning team carry out training on safeguarding, outdoor provision and the EYFS
Storal Learning visited their Farley Nursery School group last week to carry out internal training on safeguarding, outdoor provision and the EYFS
Staff from the three Outstanding nurseries joined together outside under a gazebo to share practice and spend time with their colleagues from across the settings in Farley, near Salisbury, Sparsholt outside Winchester and the village of Steeple Langford.
Internal training in companies main added value is its personalised design for the company’s own employees, which allows it to be a training focused on their specific needs at all times.
The group was split into teams where they worked collaboratively, taking Prime Areas of the EYFS and designing high end activities outdoors to showcase to each other, where there were discussions regarding the Intent, Implementation and Impact for the children aged 0-4 in their care.
Storal Learning are proud to have acquired the Farley Nursery group in December 2021.
Charlotte Roberts, experienced early years expert and head of operations said: “It was a pleasure to spend the day with the team and refresh training through using everyday natural resources from their adjoining fields to capture children’s imaginations and facilitate the true sense of wonder and education that the staff at Farley do with such ease.”
Lisa Humby, regional operations manager and a passionate outdoor educator, shared the learning experience:
“It really is a wonderful environment that brings a unique and really special experience to our children.”
