Storal consolidates branding to unite its growing group
Storal, the growing nursery group, has taken the opportunity to refresh its main brand at the same time as refreshing the brands of the individual nursery schools, bringing its family of nurseries schools together into a more cohesive approach
To date Storal, Storal Learning as was, promoted the local brands of their nurseries and kept the Storal brand in the shadows. They focused on supporting their nurseries from behind the scenes and building a sense of community between the nurseries.
Now as Storal celebrates its sixth birthday, the company feel that the time has come to bring the Storal brand to life and to create a sense of unity between their local brands. This will allow Storal to continue to celebrate the individuality of each nursery school whilst providing a platform to celebrate the benefits of working as part of the wider Storal community.
Storal has worked with its team members across nurseries and with parents to build a new approach to the Storal and nursery brands based on insight gathering with stakeholders from across the organisation.
In a recent Ofsted report, the regulator wrote of one of Storal’s Outstanding outdoor nurseries that it was a nursery school: ‘where children use their imaginations freely’ and ‘all children thrive.’ With this cohesive approach to their nurseries, they have revisited their purpose and are focusing on what is really important: celebrating that every child has a different story to tell and that Storal needs to support the unfolding of children’s and team members individual stories.
Chief executive officer Sarah Mackenzie is passionate about Storal’s new phase:
“As we listened to feedback from families, team members and other stakeholders through this brand project three things became very clear. Firstly, that we have a nursery group that really listens and individualises our approach based on the stories of individual team members and children. Secondly, that we’re very proud of the local reputations and unique qualities of each individual nursery and lastly that people don’t know about the benefits that come with being part of Storal’s community of nurseries until they join because we don’t talk about them. The new brand, and the way this is reflected across all of our nurseries, really reflects these points and will support us as we continue in this next chapter at Storal as we evolve, strengthen and excel.”
With that, Storal are excited to announce the launch of their new brand. Children from across the nurseries are coming together to engage in Brusho learning experiences, a technique used in some of the new brand artwork, and sharing in the celebrations along with the Storal families and team.
