South London nursery group appoints Realise as training provider

A South London nursery group has appointed Realise as its principal apprenticeship training provider

Little Elms Daycare Nurseries & Pre-Schools, which has 11 settings all within the M25, has turned to Realise to provide Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships for around 50 of its employees per year.

Pam Webber, head of HR at Little Elms, said she was excited about the new partnership having previously worked with Realise.

“I am absolutely delighted to move our apprenticeship provision to Realise,” said Pam. “Having worked with Realise before, I know it’s going to make a genuine difference to the standard of learning and support our apprentices receive.

“Realise are an excellent training provider. They are with you every step of the way and take away a lot of the leg work for us as a nursery group.

“The great thing about Realise is that we’ll have just one or two trainers. This improves the consistency of the training and will really benefit our managers, our learners and, ultimately, the children in our care.

“I know this will be a very positive step for us as a group.”

Pam said there are plans to train Little Elms employees at Level 5 apprenticeships in the future.

Karen Derbyshire, operations director at Realise, said she was confident the new partnership would reap rewards for all involved.

“Little Elms has 11 fantastic nurseries with modern facilities and dedicated staff,” she said.

“We’re delighted to be working with the group to deliver industry-leading apprenticeships, both attracting new people to the sector and helping their existing people to take the next step in their careers.

“We will listen to Little Elm’s specific needs and develop training that is in-line with their goals.

“Ultimately, our main aim is to produce fantastic early years educators which will benefit the children in their care tremendously.”

Realise delivers a high quality curriculum far exceeding standard requirements of apprenticeships. Its training is enriched with webinars from leading experts such as Ben Kingston-Hughes and Kym Scott.
