Rosedene opens forest school nursery

Rosedene Nurseries is set to open a forest school nursery and staff training hub in North Yorkshire.
The setting, which will provide 100 nursery places for children from the age of six weeks to four years, will open in September 2025 on Stokesley Business Park. The nursery is also registered for children up to 11 years for out-of-school clubs and holiday club, and will host training and events for staff across Rosedene’s 12 nurseries in the Northeast of England.
Development of the Stokesley site has been supported through collaborative work with North Yorkshire Council’s early years team, helping to ensure the area can meet future demand.
The Stokesley nursery will act as a flagship for Rosedene’s forest school approach, with purpose-built outdoor learning spaces and a focus on eco-friendly and sustainable practice.
Alice Haslam, managing director of Rosedene Nurseries, said: “The nursery will offer children a calm, nature-connected environment that supports their learning and wellbeing, while also providing valuable additional places for local families. It will also be our business head office, with a hub for training and development across our team, helping us continue to grow a strong, skilled early years workforce.”
