Nursery recognised for staff wellbeing

The Montessori People nursery in Stockton-on-Tees has gained both Investors in People and Investors in Wellbeing awards.
The nursery has been awarded Silver in the two categories after an assessment highlighted the nursery’s strong leadership, culture of empowerment and involvement of staff, as well as its work in the community and investment in staff wellbeing.
Michelle Tudor, founder and managing director of The Montessori People, said: “Everyone is clear what I want – to be the best – and everyone has pitched in and worked hard to get us where we are today. Our staff are our biggest asset, and we never forget that. We want each person to fulfil their potential by leveraging their strengths. By making sure everyone feels valued and supported, we can find their individual superpower.”
The nursery is now working on achieving the Gold award.
