Nursery group acquires Lincolnshire setting

Clarence House Day Nurseries has bought Woodside Children’s Nursery in Sleaford, Lincolnshire in a sale facilitated by Redwoods Dowling Kerr (RDK).
The acquisition strengthens Clarence House’s presence in the East Midlands and supports its ongoing expansion strategy. The group currently runs 15 nurseries in the East Midlands and the East of England.
Woodside, which was established in 2005, is registered for 50 children, and holds a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating. Offering care from three months to eleven years, the nursery also provides before, after and holiday clubs, as well as a school drop-off and collection service.
The owner brought the setting to market in order to retire.
Stephanie Quinn, RDK sales negotiator for childcare and education, said: “It was a pleasure to work with both parties throughout the transaction. The seller’s long-standing commitment to high standards was clear from the start, and I am confident Clarence House will continue to build on that reputation. We wish them all the very best with their latest addition.”
