Monkey Puzzle nursery opens in Sutton
A new nursery and preschool has come to the community of Sutton this October.
Based Priory Crescent, Monkey Puzzle Sutton is opening its doors for children aged 3 months through to the pre-school age of 5 years, providing 53 places.
This summer, Monkey Puzzle Sutton held their official Open Day.
The Monkey Puzzle team were joined by some very special guests throughout the day, with the MP of Sutton, Paul Scully, and Jenny the Giraffe from Sutton FC joining in their celebrations. They helped the founder of Monkey Puzzle, Mark Crosby, officially cut the ribbon to open the nursery.
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sutton is located in Cheam, South London. It’s just a twenty-minute walk from Cheam train station and a short drive from the A24 and the A232, perfectly located for serving families living in the London Borough of Sutton or commuting in and out of South London.
The nursery has been designed to provide an amazing home from home environment, with daily extra-curricular activities included and a large, all season’s free flow outdoor play area.
The care and curriculum at this new nursery are tailored to each age group to ensure their development throughout their time at nursery and preschool allows them to be ready for school.
Plus, the new nursery is providing career opportunities for the local area, with recruitment open for the Sutton setting. Employees will have access to high-quality training and development to support building a long-term career in early years.
Career opportunities are available in:
- Level 2 and 3 practitioners
- Kitchen staff.
Tina Koomson Akinola, nursery manager at Monkey Puzzle Sutton, said:
“I am very excited to welcome the Sutton community to our lovely nursery, where my goal is to make it as fun for your child as it is for me, and to give children the best start in life with great learning opportunities that are on offer throughout the nursery environment.
“In early years children’s development is important, we work in partnership with parents to ensure we are providing the best care possible for your child. Our nursery is laid out to help with children’s progression: every room has a large garden to encourage outdoor learning and help with physical development. Our rooms are set up in the seven areas of learning to ensure your child can learn through play and encourage independence”
The nursery is now officially open. It will be open 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks per year.
The nursery is registered with Ofsted and local families have been invited to view the nursery on open days to secure their place.
