Merseyside day nursery sold to Welcome Nurseries
Little Saints Day Care Nursery, operating in St. Helens, has been sold to corporate operator Welcome Nurseries in a sale advised by RDK.
The setting is registered for 78 children from birth to age five and also offers a popular holiday club for children up to the age of eleven. Additionally, Little Saints has cemented an excellent reputation in the local area and enjoys high occupancy levels and regular referrals.
In its most recent inspection, the setting was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, speaking to its superb care provisions. The nursery offers children a vibrant, warm environment with an extensive range of quality toys and furnishings.
After successfully operating for the setting for several years, Julie Fielding wished to sell Little Saints in order to facilitate lifestyle changes and instructed RDK in the sale.
Little Saints was sold to corporate operator Welcome Nurseries. The group owns over 42 childcare settings and wished to acquire Little Saints to integrate it within the group. Julie was thrilled with the result and said: “thank you RDK for all your help, it is much appreciated”.
Upon completion of the sale, negotiator Karrina Lee stated: “It has been an absolute pleasure to have completed the sale. I wish Welcome Nurseries every success in their latest acquisition and I am looking to forward to any future conversations with them”.
