Exhibitor focus: Lanka Kade wooden toys: inspiring preschool children to learn through play
Our collection of educational wooden toys was exhibited for the first time at The Nursery Managers Show in June. Designed to inspire imaginations, celebrate curiosity and encourage creative play – our aim is to unlock every child’s potential through high quality, engaging toys that encourage learning, exploration and growth, while increasing diversity in early years play.
Our collection
Designed for early years settings, our collection of wooden toys includes wooden figures, building blocks, Noah’s ark, play buildings, push alongs, multi-ethnic rag dolls, puzzles and so much more! Our themes include animal, emergency services, fairytale, dinosaur and more.
Ethical and sustainable products
Lanka Kade products are designed in the UK and handcrafted by skilled Sri Lankan artisans employed by fair trade workshops who adhere to the WFTO’s 10 Principles of Fair Trade. The majority of our product range is now made from FSC certified rubber wood.
Trusted by childcare providers
Nurseries, childminders, and playgroups trust our toys to enhance learning environments. Our products promote cognitive development, motor skills, and encourage social play. They are also widely used as tools to explore PSED and mental health. All products, including paints, are regularly tested and comply with British and European toy safety standards.
