Kids Planet acquires Little Treasures Academy
Kids Planet Day Nurseries has announced the acquisition of Little Treasures Academy in Witney.
Ideally situated in a quiet and secure business park with outdoor gardens and a mini soft play centre, Little Treasures sits closely to Kids Planet’s current cluster of nurseries in Oxford and expands the nursery group’s offering in the area.
Clare Roberts, chief executive at Kids Planet, said:
“A warm welcome to the team at Little Treasures Academy. The nursery setting provides a friendly and stimulating environment with a focus on the individual care for each child, aligning with our own approach. I look forward to supporting them as they join the Kids Planet family.”
Joy Devendra, former owner of Little Treasures Academy, said:
“After an incredible journey of 15 wonderful years, I am filled with mixed emotions as I pass the baton into the capable hands Kids Planet. Over the years, Little Treasures Academy has gone from strength to strength and has been a labour of love. I’ve witnessed countless children take their first steps, say their first words and develop into curious, bright individuals. The bonds created between our team, families, children and community are priceless and I will cherish them.
“I have every confidence Kids Planet have the right vision, values and ethos to guide this nursery into its next chapter. It has truly been a pleasure to work with Kids Planet through this transition. In particular their communication, professionalism and understanding has made the process less daunting. Kids Planet’s passion for early childhood education, dedication, and vision for the future are clearly evident. I wish the team and Kids Planet all my best wishes.”
Kids Planet has grown to 171 settings across the UK through a combination of acquisition and greenfield developments. Its focus continues to be acquiring existing nursery settings.
