Kindred Nurseries acquires a new setting in Hertfordshire
Rainbow House Day Nursery has a capacity of 65 and provides childcare for 0 to 5-year-olds. The setting holds a “Good” Ofsted grade. There is an out of school club attached to the setting which Kindred has acquired as part of the purchase.
Kindred Nurseries initiated first contact with Roy and Mary and it became apparent there was a shared vision of giving children the very best start in life and a passion for helping staff to thrive. The opportunity for Kindred Nurseries to expand into Hertfordshire and the high standards of childcare provided by the Rainbow House Nursery was what ultimately influenced the acquisition.
Kindred Hertfordshire
Prior to this most recent acquisition, Kindred had 41 settings across Greater London, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. Established in 2015, Kindred have a dedicated central team consisting of experienced childcare experts. With backgrounds in nursery operations, finance, technology and education, Kindred have ambitious plans for expansion. The acquisition of Rainbow House expands Kindred’s footprint in Hertfordshire, with an excellent match of pedagogy and high expectations of quality, which underpin the Kindred brand and ethos.
Ruth Pimentel, chief executive of Kindred Nurseries commented;
“This fabulous nursery will bring our group to 40 settings and we know they will be a great match for the rest of our family. Roy and Mary’s passion was evident, and they were keen to know that the setting would continue to be looked after and further developed. We are excited to start a new phase, with Rainbow House being a key part of that development.”
