Kids Planet Stretton receives Outstanding
The team at Kids Planet Stretton has been awarded Outstanding in all areas in their recent Ofsted inspection.
The report reveals that families cannot praise the nursery enough and the leaders have clear learning intentions and high expectations for all children.
An extract from the commented in the report:
“Children arrive extremely excited and ready to learn at this fun and inclusive nursery. They are highly confident, sociable and friendly, their emotional well-being is exceptionally strong. Staff nurture this through the strong bonds they form with children, who they know extremely well. Children settle swiftly, even the youngest children who have recently started display high levels of confidence in their surroundings.”
Sarah Foster, manager at Kids Planet Stretton, said:
“I’ve worked at Stretton for 25 years so have seen lots of changes and exciting times but this is definitely one of my proudest moments as manager. The team work so hard every day to make this a magical place for children to spend their days and I am incredibly proud of everyone.
It means so much to us to be recognised by Ofsted as being an outstanding setting. The inspection day itself was actually a very nice day; the inspector was keen to find out what it is like for a child in our setting and our amazing little ones were only too happy to tell her. They enjoyed showing her our garden and telling her how we take care of the plants and keep ourselves healthy and safe. We will be celebrating this achievement.”
Kids Planet Stretton registered in 2018 and is situated in Stretton, Warrington. The well-established nursery first opened in 1997 and is set in a beautiful Victorian building. The nursery opens Monday to Friday all year round, except for bank holidays, and sessions runfrom 7.30am until 6.30pm. The nursery caters for babies through to preschool and provides funded early education for two, three and four-year-old children.
