Kids Planet acquires Halewood Nursery
Kids Planet, has expanded further this week, welcoming The Ducklings Day Nursery in Halewood into the group
This well-established Liverpool nursery complements Kids Planet’s own values and ethos and the new addition takes the total number of nurseries to 137 across the UK.
The Halewood nursery setting strives to provide excellent standards of education and invaluable early experiences for the children, enhancing the quality and consistency of learning.
Clare Roberts, chief executive at Kids Planet Day Nurseries, said:
“I am pleased to welcome the Ducklings nursery in Halewood into our Kids Planet family, bringing our total number of nurseries to 137 and strengthening our existing presence in Liverpool. We look forward to supporting the nursery and team as they integrate into our group.”
Aidan Simpson, previous owner at Ducklings Day Nursery, said:
“Selling our nursery was a very difficult decision because we had invested a great deal of time, energy and emotion into making it the best possible setting. It was important that any subsequent owner should have a similar level of commitment. Kids Planet is a family run company that is very much nursery-focused, so it felt like a natural successor that we could trust to look after the staff and children into the future.
Business transactions are inevitably quite demanding processes, but the team at Kids Planet helped to make it a pleasure. They were very responsive, approachable and professional throughout. We wish them every success taking the nursery forward.”
