Kids Planet acquires Warwickshire nursery

Kids Planet Day Nurseries has bought KCP Nursery in Warwickshire in a deal facilitated by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.
KCP Nursery, situated on the site of Knightlow Primary School in the Warwickshire village of Stretton-on-Dunsmore, has been owned by Ruth Thompson since 2004. It was recently brought to market to allow her to retire.
Kids Planet Day Nurseries owns more than 240 settings across the UK.
“I’m very happy with the outcome and wish KCP all the best for the future as part of the Kids Planet family,” said Thompson.
Jassi Sunner, associate director – childcare & education at Christie & Co, said: “Under offer within eight days of going to market was a superb result for KCP Nursery, 32 enquiries in that same period was challenging but exactly the competitive tension we are seeing in the market.”
KCP Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
