After acquiring the site in 2019 and then putting the project on hold during Covid-19, the building has now been transformed into a state-of-the-art nursery

Careful consideration went into the aesthetics and our vision to nurture, educate and inspire the children in our care.  Each room features a different colour scheme with neutral tones and furniture and equipment to suit the children’s learning needs.

The nursery caters for babies and young children aged from 3 months to 5 years and offers several gardens and outdoor areas for the children to enjoy.  The children have access to a woodland area, bike track, musical shed, a chicken coop and an amazing slide from the first floor down into the garden.  There is also a sizable field, which will feature a football pitch and accommodate numerous other sports activities.

Across the nursery, there are five children’s rooms, a shiny new kitchen, laundry room, milk prep facilities, baby changing room and a meeting room.  Each room is equipped with furniture and equipment from the leading nursery manufacturer Community Playthings.

What’s Next for Kids Inc?

Kids Inc Nurseries will be opening its 14^th nursery in Welwyn Garden City in autumn 2022.
