Tops Days Nursery in Portsmouth is seeking a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join our team, working on a full-time capacity. This is a fun, exciting nursery situated just outside of the city centre.

The 99 place nursery is located within the grounds of the Queen Alexandra Hospital. With such convenient transport links, we are able to provide exciting opportunities for children to explore the local parks and playgrounds! The nursery run a number of extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and much more!

Make accurate and productive use of assessment
You will preferably have a little quirkiness – If a child request that you be an astronaut navigating a rocketship full of dinosaurs through out of space, you will be the best astronaut you can be!
Develop effective and informed practice
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Must not be afraid to dance in the rain, make mud pies, build sandcastles in the snow and explore the local environment.
Work in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and carers or other professionals
Be passionate about sustainability and caring for the environment
A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required. All successful candidate will be subject to safety checks, including a full-completed Application Form and a DBS Checks.
