Tops Days Nursery in Mini Mariners is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team, working on a full-time capacity. This is a family centred environment nursery situated just outside of the heart of Taunton town centre.

Duties:

Support and promote children’s early education and development
Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
You must be brave and innovative. Don’t follow the crowd, do what makes you proud.
Make accurate and productive use of assessment
You will preferably have a little quirkiness – If a child request that you be an astronaut navigating a rocketship full of dinosaurs through out of space, you will be the best astronaut you can be!
Develop effective and informed practice
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Must not be afraid to dance in the rain, make mud pies, build sandcastles in the snow and explore the local environment.
Work in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and carers or other professionals
Be passionate about sustainability and caring for the environment

Minimum requirement: 

A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required. All successful candidate will be subject to safety checks, including a full-completed Application Form and a DBS Checks.
