Housekeeper

Website Snapdragons Nursery
Early Years Daycare
Job description
There is one part time position available (Monday – Friday, 17:00 -20:00) We offer an attractive salary of National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage, with flexible interview dates available.
As a Housekeeper you are reliable, responsible, thorough, and motivated. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery premises. You will manage a variety of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks that adhere to the expectations of the staff, parents, and the needs of the children who interact with the nursery setting everyday. With convenient part-time, this job position is perfect for those looking for working hours the differ from the standard nine til’ five working day.
Snapdragons Horfield was originally built as a chapel for soldiers based in Horfield barracks back in Victorian times. The sturdy stone walls, towering bell tower and double height arched windows still shout chapel, but inside we have transformed the interior into light and stimulating spaces where children can learn and play in our trademark natural wood environments. In pre-school there’s a children’s kitchen for cooking and healthy eating activities in line with our healthy eating ethos. Each age group has its own floor of the building and the gardens outside offer lots of space for outdoor learning, including a specially built outdoor classroom and growing areas. Horfield Common is just across the road and the children are regularly taken there for walks and games. The nursery is registered for 130 children aged 0-5 and is much in demand from local parents. It is close to Southmead Hospital and a short walk from the bustling artisan shops and cafes on the Gloucester Road. It has a car park but public transport by bus is easily accessible and frequent.
