Hopscotch Hove Station awarded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted
Hopscotch Hove Station are thrilled to have been awarded another ‘Outstanding’ in all areas following a recent Ofsted inspection on the 19th May 2022
The glowing report is overwhelmingly positive and reflects the nursery team’s hard work and dedication despite the current early years recruitment challenges and the ongoing impact of Covid-19 since their last inspection.
Highlights from the effusive report include the following:
- Children are incredibly happy, safe and radiate confidence during their time at nursery. They demonstrate extremely high self-esteem as they show delight in their achievements
- The nursery’s clear ethos builds a secure foundation where children feel safe and flourish in all areas of their development
- The manager and the deputy are incredibly passionate about providing the highest quality care and education. Together, they have created a meaningful and rich curriculum, which expertly supports every child to be the best they can be
- The manager and her team, work in close partnership with parents and professionals. This supports children to fulfil their full potential. Parents speak very highly of the care and education their children receive during their time at nursery
- Staff are inspirational role models who inspire and motivate children to be the best they can be. They create a culture of mutual respect celebrating children’s differences and uniqueness.
The nursery manager Natasha Hilton said:
“We are all absolutely thrilled with our amazing Outstanding Ofsted report. The team worked incredibly hard for this great achievement, it was thoroughly deserved, and everyone is very proud, especially after all the challenges we have experienced throughout Covid.”
Hopscotch Children’s Nurseries, established in 1988 by local teacher Barbara Ford, are a family run independent childcare provider who are extremely proud to continue providing ‘Outstanding’ childcare to families across Brighton, Hove and East Sussex.
