Handford Day Nursery has been acquired by Kids Planet Day Nurseries. The deal was completed in just over 10 weeks.

The nursery offers excellent care provisions to children from age 0 to 5 years and has been recognised as a leading childcare provider in the Stoke-on-Trent area by organisations such as Ofsted and Stoke Speaks Out. In 2016, the setting received the Stoke Speaks Out award due to their assistance with children’s speech and learning development. Handford Day Nursery also achieved an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.

Staff at the setting are highly qualified with over 50 years of experience in the childcare sector, with the nursery focusing on a variety of activities involving staff. The range of activities include arts and crafts, singing and sensory activities.

Our client chose to instruct Redwoods Dowling Kerr as one of the UK’s leading childcare brokers and, utilising our bespoke buyer intelligence, we found a suitable buyer for the nursery.

Kids Planet Day Nurseries, who have acquired via RDK previously, are a corporate operator with 95 settings – Handford Day Nursery marking their 96^th childcare setting.
