Government partners with Channel 4 to promote early years

The Department for Education has partnered with Channel 4 to promote the benefits of a career in early education and childcare.
The series How To Love Your Job features on Channel 4’s YouTube, Instagram and Facebook channels and is also available via streaming. Featuring Anna Williamson, professional life coach, author, and podcaster, the programmes encourage people to move into a career in early education.
How To Love Your Job talks to early years workers to find out what viewers could expect from a role in this sector. The content is produced by KAKAW Productions, with the deal led by media agency OmniGOV at MG OMD.
Rupinder Downie, content solutions leader at Channel 4, said: “We are very proud to kick off 2025 by partnering with the Department for Education. It re-emphasises the strong social branded entertainment offering Channel 4 presents to its clients and through the creative How To Love Your Job, builds on relevant conversations and inspires new perspectives on what it is like to work with the next generation.”
Polly Mason, partnerships account director at MG OMD, said: “By leveraging the power of Channel 4’s audiences and their strong branded social entertainment, we’ve been able to create some brilliant content encouraging people to consider careers across early years.”
