Gloucestershire nursery owner buys three settings in Surrey
The owner of Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery in Gloucestershire has purchased a three-setting pre-school group in Surrey.
Laura Yearwood bought Foundations Pre-School, which can accommodate up to 100 children at any one time, in a deal facilitated by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.
The group was founded by Matt and Laura Styles in 2010 when the pair opened their first setting at St Peters Church, Woking. The couple chose to sell to focus on their family and other business ventures.
Sophie Willcox, director – childcare and education at Christie & Co, said: “It was a pleasure working with Matt and Laura to find them a buyer to carry on their legacy. The pre-schools operate from either a church or a school premises and they are the perfect fit for a single-site owner. I wish Laura the best of luck with the future of the business.”
