Educational resources provider Giglets Education has rebranded as ILT Education UK.

Giglets Education was acquired by Swedish company ILT Education in March 2022, and the rebrand brings the organisation’s offerings under a unified brand.

When Giglets Education was acquired by ILT, it offered one product, Giglets – an online library with more than 2,000 texts available in over 40 languages. Giglets aims to engage learners, support educators, and foster a love of reading.

Since 2022, Giglets Education has expanded its portfolio to include Polylino, a multilingual picture book service for children in early years settings.

ILT also acquired Nessy Learning, which offers Nessy Reading and Spelling, a product that helps pupils with dyslexia by offering support in writing, touch typing, mathematics and dyscalculia.

Craig Johnstone, chief executive and founder of Giglets Education, will become managing director for ILT Education UK. He said: “This transition will provide the platform for our continued growth within schools, MATS and local authorities whilst supporting new businesses, products and services joining the ILT Education family in the UK and beyond.”
