Don’t miss out! We’ll help you plan the next seven days with our round-up of everything that’s happening in the early years sector.
Rhyme time
World Nursery Rhyme Week takes place between 13 and 17 November. Access free and discounted resources on the Facebook page. There are lots of ways to get involved – one setting in Ireland has partnered with a nursery in Qatar, for example, and children will sing together during the week.
Wear odd socks
The Anti-Bullying Alliance’s Anti-Bullying Week also runs from 13 to 17 November. This year’s theme is Make A Noise About Bullying. Check out these top tips for early years staff from the Anti-Bullying Alliance. The week kicks off with Odd Socks Day, supported by CBeebies’ Andy Day.
Celebrate diversity
Inter Faith Week always begins on Remembrance Sunday, so this year takes place between 12 and 19 November. The event aims to create opportunities to bring different faiths and backgrounds together, to celebrate and learn about each other, and develop new ways to work together. It’s a good time to look at how your setting embeds diversity and inclusion, and create links with the community.
