The Family First Nursery Group has moved to strengthen its team by appointing Chris Marston as its first commercial director.

Chris brings a wealth of knowledge, accomplishments and experience from the commercial world within the education sector.

He joined Family First in June after two years at the south west based Mama Bears Nurseries as Commercial Director and latterly Managing Director.

Ollie Humphries, chief executive at Family First said: “We are thrilled Chris has joined our team. He brings with him great expertise as a commercial leader and will make a huge difference to our business as we continue to acquire more nursery settings.

“Family First was established in 2019 with the clear ambition to become the UK’s number one quality childcare provider and with Chris on board this goal is looking more achievable.”

Chris added: “I am passionate about delivering the best possible childcare, and my role is to help the business to deliver from behind the scenes, ensuring childcare teams are fully supported to continue to deliver outstanding childcare.
