Fennies Nurseries, an award-winning UK nursery provider has just secured growth funding to support its expansion plans to open a significant number of new sites.

Six new settings are on schedule to open in 2021 creating 450 new nursery places across Bromley, Eltham and Raynes Park, with more settings to follow.

The finance and site acquisition funding for the new nurseries has been provided by Cynergy Bank and Mantra Consultancy & Capital, and supports the roll out of Fennies Nurseries’ expansion programme which will see the group grow to 50 nurseries.

All Fennies Nurseries sites are built or renovated from the ground up which means that they are created with early years in mind, providing enabling environments for each developmental stage. The group also has an internal recruitment team which enables it to select the very best candidates and grow their talent, often from apprentice level all the way to management roles.

With a reputation for excellence – especially as a leading provider of early years education – Fennies Nurseries offers an enhanced delivery of the EYFS curriculum designed specifically by its in-house educational team.  Also included are well-being activities, a STEM program, focused art sessions, language lessons taught by linguistics coaches plus PE and yoga sessions.  All new nurseries will also offer the Fennies Sensory Experience (for children aged 3mnths-2yrs) that incorporates innovative resources for sensory development that encourage the exploration of movement and communication.

Fennies Nurseries are accredited with the Early Years Nutrition Partnership (EYNP) with menus designed alongside their registered nutritionists and meals prepared by on site chefs.  The nutrition focus extends beyond mealtimes as children are taught healthy mealtime routines, the importance of a healthy lifestyle and grow their own fruit and vegetables in nursery gardens.  There are also monthly blogs for parents to keep them up to date with nutritional advice as well as the newly launched Fennies Fresh home-cooked meal service which means that parents can pick up a delicious dish, to serve at home, at the same time they collect their children from nursery.
