Dental Elite founder buys Solihull day nursery
Formerly an elderly day care centre sympathetically converted into a large day nursery, Once Upon a Time Children’s Day Nursery is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ with an effective operating capacity for up to 72 babies and children aged 0-5 years. It has outdoor space to the front of the property and parents walk through this to enter the nursery which is a particular delight to the children.
Situated in Solihull, a prime suburb of Birmingham, the setting is positioned in a busy residential area between two main routes in and out of the city. Due to the proximity to residential buildings, schools and employers, the business remains popular with a range of parents.
The business was previously owned by Mrs Faye Hicks who developed the setting and its reputation to a very high standard in just a few short years. With an experienced team, a dedication to high-quality childcare, and excellent resources, the nursery is a trusted provider in the area.
Following a confidential marketing campaign, Once Upon a Time has been sold to Mr Luke Moore, founder of Dental Elite, who brings a high level of business experience to the setting.
Jassi Sunner, associate director – Childcare & Education at Christie & Co who handled the sale, commented: “Once Upon a Time Children’s Day Nursery is a delightful setting in a busy suburb of Birmingham with an excellent reputation established and nurtured by our client, Faye. As a result, after a very short marketing period, an offer was quickly accepted as Faye felt the buyer was a good fit to continue the trajectory of the business.
“This sale is a perfect example of marketing day nurseries at the correct sale price, attracting a range of interest and achieving the best price for our clients. The Midlands market remains strong and competitive due the quality of instructions coming up for sale.”
Once Upon a Time Children’s Day Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
