Busy Bees Addlestone nursery on Simplemarsh Road will open in early 2023.

The new nursery will cater for 113 children across all age groups; babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. It will feature bright and spacious rooms, with lots of room for children to play and explore including creative play areas, outdoor spaces and brand-new bespoke furniture.

The nursery will have features that focus on the environment and sustainability including indoor natural pictures that improve indoor air quality through oxygen production and provide children with the opportunity to learn about the importance of taking care of the living indoor plants and the environment.

It will also feature a cycle rack for staff and parents, enabling a more sustainable mode of travel to and from the centre, electric vehicle (EV) charging points for staff and a buggy store for parents who walk to drop-off/pick-up their children.

Tanya Howard is the new centre director for Busy Bees Addlestone and has over 13 years of experience in the early years sector.
