Alderley Day Nursery Montessori joins Busy Bees
The sale has seen Busy Bees acquire the nursery located in Nether Alderley, Cheshire.
Alderley Day Nursery Montessori has been part of the local community for over 15 years and is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Catering for more than 90 children from birth to five years, the nursery is passionate about creating a positive and caring environment, full of exciting activities designed to unleash a child’s natural ability for spontaneous learning.
The nursery has embedded the Montessori approach to child development, following each child’s interests and facilitating their learning with hands-on, real-life activities, ensuring children gain the confidence, independence and knowledge required to support them on their journey into school life.
The nursery has eight rooms encompassing a baby suite, toddler rooms, two large classrooms and a relaxation room. The large outdoor garden space is a vast extension to the learning environment featuring a range of age-appropriate equipment and resources, encouraging all areas of the curriculum.
The Busy Bees group cares for more than 40,000 children across more than 390 nurseries in the UK and Ireland, and 75,000 children globally across eight countries.
Nitin Jain, managing director of Montessori by Busy Bees, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alderley Day Nursery Montessori to the Busy Bees family. The team has done a wonderful job of growing the nursery over the past 15 years and we are committed to preserving their vision and values going forward.
“Their approach to children’s learning and giving children time and space to develop as individuals aligns with our mission at Busy Bees. We are looking forward to working with the team to ensure children continue receiving the best possible start in life.”
Melanie Hallam, owner of Alderley Day Nursery Montessori, added: “Since establishing the nursery in 2007, it has been an absolute honour to have cared for hundreds of children and their families over the past 15 years, watching them develop and transition into school. I have been incredibly fortunate to work with a remarkable team of colleagues, dedicated to caring for and inspiring the young minds we are lucky enough to encounter.
“Busy Bees were the only company I considered passing the ADN reins to because of their commitment to preserving our Montessori approach and their outstanding reputation for providing quality childcare throughout the world. I am confident that our children will continue to flourish, and our team will be in safe hands. I wish them the very best for the future.”
