Work begins on new Bright Horizons nursery in Buckhurst Hill
Work has begun on Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery, set to open this autumn
The new nursery, set to be located on Palmerston Road will create up to 36 jobs and offer 90 places for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Previously an independent school, the building will undergo a full interior fit out, as well as complete external works for the outdoor area at the rear.
Latest learning equipment and resources will feature throughout, as well as a children’s learning kitchen, art studio and dedicated Growing Enhancements area all featuring in the state-of-the-art setting. Its garden will include play structures helping to inspire young minds and build a love of the outdoors.
Lianne Grace, regional director, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming families to our new nursery in Buckhurst Hill this autumn. In the coming months, we’ll start to see real progress on exciting renovations we are making to the building. A key priority for us now is our recruitment drive. We have approximately 36 positions to fill and we’re keen to get the right team members on board to ensure that our nursery will offer children an environment where they can flourish.”
