Bambinos Day Nursery sold to Family First
Specialist business property advisor, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Bambinos Day Nursery in Coventry.
Bambinos Day Nursery is an ‘Outstanding’ rated setting which provides day care for up to 70 children aged zero to five years. The business occupies a large, purpose-built setting in Coventry.
The nursery has been owned by Nicholas and Clare Walton since 2006, over which time it has developed an enviable reputation and exceptionally high demand for nursery places owing to its prominent location in an affluent suburb of the city and the number of employers in close proximity.
The setting was brought to market on a confidential basis and, following a swift sales process with Christie & Co, has been sold to Family First which now owns almost 100 settings across the UK.
Jassi Sunner, associate director, Childcare & Education at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, commented: “Bambinos Day Nursery is a fantastic setting with a reputation built around superb early years education as a result of the previous owner’s background. This reputation helped to ensure that ‘word of mouth’ advertising from satisfied parents meant the nursery has always been busy. The location in a prosperous part of the city amongst large business employers meant it was a key resource on the business park and essential commuter routes in the area. We wish our client well with their future plans and look forward to helping Family First expand further with geographically key locations as part of their West Midlands group.”
Bambinos Day Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
