Family First acquires Adventure Pre School
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Adventure Pre School in Carshalton, South London
Adventure Pre School has an effective operating capacity for up to 45 children aged two and a half to five years. This ‘Good’ rated setting is situated in the grounds of Grove Park in the village centre of Carshalton, South London, which makes the perfect environment for a preschool whilst also being accessible for commuting and local parents.
The business has been owned by Beverley Mallen since 1991 and was recently brought to market to allow her to pursue other opportunities. Following a confidential sales process, the setting has been sold to national nursery group, Family First.
Speaking on behalf of Family First, Kenny Yau, commented: “We are delighted to be welcoming Adventure Pre School and the team into our group, and we wish Beverley all the best for the future.”
Sophie Willcox, director – Childcare & Education at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, added: “Beverley has been such a pleasure to work with. We received a lot of interest, but Beverley liked Family First’s personable approach and felt they were the right fit to continue her legacy and felt comfortable they would support and look after her staff.”
The Adventure Pre School was sold for an undisclosed price.
