Puddle-Ducks nursery sold to Cresswell Nurseries
Cresswell Nurseries has purchased Puddle-Ducks nursery in South West London.
Previously owned by the charity, Lifetimes, Puddle-Ducks prided itself on creating a home from home atmosphere whilst delivering the best care, education, and social skills for up to 57 children at any one time. The setting is based in Putney.
Chief exec of Lifetimes, Ms Tina Champion, commented: “Dealing with Sophie and Christie & Co made the marketing and sale of our nursery easier. We were able to choose from the many interested parties to ensure that our ethos and values continue with the new owner and we are confident that Stephen and the Cresswell team will ensure this continues whilst taking our nursery to the next stages of success.”
The nursery has been purchased by Cresswell Nurseries, taking its portfolio to 14 nurseries across the UK. Chairman, Mr Stephen Booty, said: “We are delighted to have acquired Puddle-Ducks. It’s clear Tina and her team have built up a hugely successful nursery that is popular with staff, parents, and children alike, and we aim to continue to build on this good work.”
Sophie Willcox, director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, added: “We knew we would receive a lot of interest in Puddle-Ducks because of its fantastic location and reputation. I was in receipt of multiple offers and am delighted to have found the perfect buyer for Tina and her team to carry on the fantastic work the charity has done.”
Puddle-Ducks Nursery was sold at an undisclosed price.
