The virtual awards presentation and immersive experience was sponsored by Hope Education. Their managing director, Chris Mahady, welcomed the guests and recognised the challenging year that the sector has faced, and commended everyone for their incredible work.
Attendees chatted with friends and colleagues at the virtual bars before joining the main stage for the presentation of the Awards, where some of the winners were interviewed by Briony Richter, editor of NMT.
The evening closed with further networking in the virtual bars, with the winners being celebrated in a virtual fashion.

Thank you to our wonderful host, Greg Rutherford, MBE 
Greg Rutherford, MBE is a retired British track and field athlete who specialised in long jump winning gold in 2012 and is now the Team GB ambassador and will be presenting for Eurosport at next year’s Olympics in Japan. He is currently Celebrity MasterChef champion for 2019, and almost completed the channel swim this Summer for StandUpto Cancer but it was called off due to storms in the last 5 miles.
