Early Years Alliance survey looks at the impact the pandemic has had on our mental health
We have all been affected by the pandemic this year. Many people have suffered from the virus and have watched as family and friends become ill. To add to that, there are continuing stresses at work and the restrictions on our personal lives have been felt significantly.
Covid-19 has highlighted many cracks in our society when it comes to addressing mental wellbeing, both as an individual and as a workforce.
The Early Years Alliance has launched a new survey looking specifically at the impact of the Covid-19 on the mental health and wellbeing of the early years workforce.
As an incredibly challenging year comes to an end, the Alliance knows how hard providers across the country have worked to continue delivering quality care and education in the most difficult of circumstances.
Members have voiced their concerns over the pressures of working in the sector duing the pandemic and what this has done to their mental health and wellbeing.
You can respond to the survey here and it closes on the 22 December.
